What Size Are They?

Our standard laminate is 3" × 4"

That's the size most events order, and the size our templates are built around. Common alternatives include 3" × 5", 2.87" × 4.25" and more.

Beyond that, size isn't a constraint. We die-cut custom shapes to your artwork, from rounded festival tags to full silhouette cuts. Send us what you have in mind and we'll confirm the setup and tooling before you commit.

What Is an Event Laminate?

An event laminate is a printed credential sealed inside protective film and worn on a lanyard for the length of an event. It's the standard for anything running more than a single day, because a paper or card pass won't survive the weather, the sweat and the handling that three days of an event put it through.

Most events run four to eight tiers. We print them as one artwork family — same stock and size, different colorway and tier name — so gate staff can read access at a glance from ten feet away. Which laminate style fits depends on how long the tier is worn and how much security it needs.

Using AI-Generated Artwork

We can print AI-generated artwork, but it has to meet the same standards as any other file.

We can print your AI image as-is when it:

  • Is close to the final print dimensions
  • Meets 300 DPI at that size, in CMYK, with bleed
  • Is free of the usual AI artifacts

What gets an AI file rejected

  • Low resolution or heavy compression
  • RGB instead of CMYK
  • Distorted or garbled text — by far the most common failure
  • Missing bleed
  • Other visual glitches typical of generated images
  • Artwork flattened onto a fake or out-of-proportion template

If your file isn't print-ready, you can fix it yourself or have our art team rebuild it at $100.00 per hour. Using an AI image purely as a reference for our designers is treated as a normal design job at the same rate — the result will follow your creative direction, but may differ from the original image.

What size are laminated event badges?

Our standard laminate is 3" x 4" trim, with a 3.25" x 4.25" bleed and a 2.75" x 3.75" live area. Custom shapes, die-cuts and non-standard sizes are available.

How much do custom laminated badges cost?

Pouch laminates start at $0.24 each and standard event badges at $0.31. RFID options start at $0.59, and premium finishes run to $0.98. Unit price drops with quantity.

What is the minimum order for laminated badges?

Are laminated badges waterproof?

Not entirely, but our laminated badges resist sweat, abrasion and bending, even in outdoor conditions.

Can I add RFID or barcodes to my laminated badges?

Yes. You can include RFID or NFC chips, barcodes, QR codes, sequential numbering or holographic overlays for extra security.

Can I order different designs for each access level?

Yes. All-access, artist, crew, VIP, media, vendor and guest tiers can each carry their own colorway and artwork in a single order — printed together and packed separately by tier.

What's the turnaround time?

We send a digital proof within 24 hours. Production runs 5–10 business days after approval, and most orders arrive within 1–3 weeks door to door. Rush options are available.

What are your artwork requirements?

300 DPI at final print size, CMYK color mode, and 0.125" of bleed on every edge. Keep text and logos inside the live area. Files are rejected for low resolution, RGB color, garbled text or missing bleed.

Can you print AI-generated artwork?

Yes, if the file is 300 DPI at final size, in CMYK, with bleed, and free of the garbled text and visual glitches AI images often carry. If it isn't print-ready, you can fix it or our art team can rebuild it at $100.00 per hour.

Can I get the lanyards printed to match?

Yes. We color-match lanyards to your credential artwork and can pre-assemble them so they arrive ready to hand out.

Are laminated badges single or double sided?

Full-color printing is available on one or both sides. Double-sided is standard for credentials carrying access rules or a schedule on the reverse.
